MY BALD AND BRUTIFAL JOURNEY
My First Book Author Photo Front
2007 - Book Photoshoot
This photo was taken by a professional photographer for my first book, "Walking in the Footsteps of God." It was in black and white but you can clearly see the thickness and curl pattern. You can also see the receding had already started where my line is too high.
My First Book Author Photo Rear
2007 - Book Photoshoot
This is the rear picture of the same photo shoot. I had no viewable thinning in the crown but the hair was thinner and less full. Even at this stage, there was a slight tingle in the scalp and tenderness at times. I locked my hair after this which made hair loss worse.
Meeting Bro in Atlanta
Circa 2010 - Bro Shaun
My younger brother (RIP) next to me when he visited Atlanta with friends. As you can see, MPB has caught up with me & I lost a lot of hair in front & on the crown area in the back since 2009. At this point, I wasn't ready to "shave it off bro..." Pic grainy because its analog.
Toastmasters Meeting
Circa 2011 - 31 years Age
From 2009 to 2012 or so, I lost most of my hair going from a Norwood 3 or so (Visually but had been balding for years) to Norwood 7 and every year it became worse. I weighed about 122 pds. No matter how much I ate, I couldn't gain weight plus a host of other issues.

2014 - Official Bald bro
in 2014, long gone were the days I'd have a slight shadow on my head or temples with some sort of hairline. The top was without vellus hairs, or terminal hairs and had the MPB shine. I would simply shave the sides down very low and rock the 5 o-clock shadow most of the time. Skin was healing from acne.
QJ and Prince at B day Party
2014 - Chuckie Cheese
N7 and shiny settled into life. I believe the acne went away but I was still having nutrition issues and digestive issues from Gluten, I wouldn't really find out about a year later when it became noticeable right after I ate. I started developing near celiac disease symptoms at this time.
Family Pictures
2016 - Wife and I Pic
It is what it is gents. But being bald didn't stop me from finding the love of my life. I started working with herbs around this time and contemplating reversing my hair loss even then and I tried but didn't stick with it. I grew a bit of hair back this time even with the 4-5 ingredients I used but my temples never restored and I quit. I would continue to research and test to the present day.

2017 - Brother & Sister
This would be the last pic we took together. Love you man.... As far as hair, some people call the bald look the easiest style but it's not. It is the simplest style but it requires the most maintenance. Besides that, I missed the variety of styles. I missed the fresh haircuts and the lineups. I missed going to the barber and coming out refreshed. Like many of you, I just missed the old me.
QJ and Prince - Home like many families...
2021 - Home Pic
All smiles at home. Looks like I used a razor to shave my head. Had been growing my beard (and a garden) during the pandemic for over a year. At this point, I had been working with herbs, botanicals, and plants for years at home I kept our immune systems strong, our teeth white, and even our organs cleansed. My next big fix? Hairloss. It was finally time for me to tame the beast, internal and external.
10 year wedding vow renewal in Jamaica
jULY 2022 - Vow Renewal
This brings everything full circle. From the time we met, to 10 years later, I lived with hair loss like many of you. Yet, a few months before this picture was taken, I had devised a solid plan on how I'd approach restoring my hair loss after years of creating natural products for our personal use. It was now or never. This was July 2022 & in the week that followed, I started the regimen you now know as Back to the Barber.
Note to Readers & Followers...
I had to really scrounge to find pictures of me without wearing a hat so I am aware that many of the pictures are not high definition. They were really for my personal use and I never imagined they'd be showcased on a website of mine for reversing MPB. This timeline is the true and uncut progression of my MPB and it should give you a sense that I am sincere in my journey and "you can trust me bro..."
