Ideal Conditions for Hair Growth

The Alpha scalp and the Omega scalp. Two terms that I created to differentiate between ideal hair growth conditions and the absolute worst conditions for hair growth, which causes hair loss.

So what is an Omega scalp:

  1. Supple or movable

  2. Tensionless

  3. Non-calcified non fibrosis

  4. Moisture (not oily)

  5. Abundant circulation

  6. Abundant sub-layer fat

  7. Acne and infection free

  8. Androgen and DHT free

  9. Estrogen dominant

So what is an Alpha Scalp

  1. Hard and immovable

  2. Tension

  3. Calcification of lipids

  4. Fibrosis or densing of scalp layers

  5. Dry internally (calcification)

  6. Low angiogenesis (circulation)

  7. Low neurogenesis

  8. Bumps and acne (pathogen or protein infection)

  9. DHT and androgen dominant

In other words, hair grows in a rain forest or atleast an oasis, not a desert.
