If my suspicions and research is true, then balding is NOT a thing but points to a thing. That thing that it points to is degeneration in some form or fashion. Age, health, nutritional levels, hormonal imbalances etc...whenever it manifests, something is off.
Ironically, it's called a disease aka androgenetic alopecia or male pattern balding but it is not treated as disease but treated more similar to cosmetic in nature. Thus, the products that are recommended by physicians are meant to grow hair or halt hair loss, not deal with the underlying cause.
Regardless, if I could call it a disease, I would call it a disease of one particular thing without a doubt. No, its not a DHT issue or disease. No, I would not call it an autoimmune issue right off. Lastly, it will not be classified as a hair loss disease. I would call it "Acute Follicle Stress Syndrome" My reasoning is- if its initial start is pathogenic in nature, then the stress of fighting off parasites can be the culprit. If its DHT causing the problem, then its still stress. Now if its tension, gravity, loss of circulation or more - when it comes down to it, the follicles are under duress for a long period of time. Even if its stress of the mind, hair loss follow.
